Devil Dog Arms was founded in 2009 and focuses on 1911 style pistols and a variety of rifles. In 2016 the company was rocked by scandal when co-founder/CEO Joe Lucania admitted stolen valor - he had never been a Marine sniper as he previously claimed. In response the investor immediately dissolved the company. Devil Dog Arms relaunched nine months later with a new leadership team. The company now focuses on complete transparency including development of a veteran workforce, partnering with veteran businesses, and giving back to veteran organizations.
