In 2016 J&B Industrial Services acquired Samak Enterprises, previously known as Alamo Four Star (A4S), and the name was changed again — to ZRODelta. J&B Industrial Services is owned by John Birk and has been in business since 1985 offering casting, forging, machining, stamping, and laser cutting. The name ZRODelta was selected for this new company, based on the A4S patented quick-detach rifle scope mount. A4S was founded by inventor Mark Deros in 2004. ZRO is pronounced Zero, and ZRODelta signifies that there is no change to their scope's accuracy when it is repeatedly detached and remounted. In 2018 ZRODelta merged with Critical Capabilities, a major supplier of AR-15 components founded by Pat Harrigan, former Green Beret. Also in 2018 ZRODelta acquired War Sport Industries, a firearms design and manufacturing company founded by Joey and Martha Boswell in 2008. ZRODelta launched their first complete pistol in 2018.
